3M™ Speedglas™ High Temperature Replacement Outside Protection Plate is specially designed for Speedglas™ 9100 welding helmets and made from polycarbonate. Protection plate with hard coating is perfect for demanding environments and offers resistance to scratching, abrasion, spark and spatter. Outside protection plate is formulated using an engineered resin to provide resistance in higher heat applications. Protection plate is ideal for demolition, facility maintenance, assembly, cleaning, electrical, health and safety testing, machine operations, remediation, sanding, grinding and welding applications. Protection plate is suitable for use in high amperage welding or conditions where long weld beads may generate radiant heat.
